Garen needs to lose his silence in place of something else, like a slow

I know at higher Elo he's not that fantastic, but in lower elo he has a disturbingly high capability of stomping people without actually needing to think of how he fights. The sustain from his passive, as well as the silence from his Q gives him extreme bully potential and staying power, allowing him to stay in lane even against hard matchups.

Couple that with his absurdingly high base damages and easy cleaver procs, he becomes nearly impossible to deal with for several champions while being a gigantic ball of defensive stats that can still 100-0 you during his silence.

For the sake of him and his opponents, add more counter play and please for the love of god add more complexity to his kit so he isn't just a one trick pony.

riot isn't going to balance the game around people that don't know elixirs exist. I'm sorry but it's just not happening.

... he said lower elo.. not brand new people...

also the silence really is pretty dumb as it block all abilties including summoner 4 and dashes.. and its not like you can outrun him...

so if he EVER going into range vs an AP champ they just flat out dead.. u just cant escape it.. and because riot gave him stupid amount of tenacity you cant really STOP him from getting into range anymore

i mean sure adc's can handle him fine they have autos.. and top can fight him fine.. but his kit is completely toxic vs mages who already are in a horrible spot.

swapping the silence to something else doesn't really hurt him vs adc much at all. and it might be a slight nerf vs top laners that use abilties but still...

yes i do have some person bias vs garen. but i have also ALWAYS thought his silence was stupid.

a "silence" vs any AP champ IS a in all effectiveness a "stun" and that is NOT something he should have in his kit

in riot's eyes, the opinions of people in lower elo don't matter in terms of balance, which is the way it should be. otherwise nasus, who was already a god tier champion in lower elo, wouldn't have gotten a hyperbuff.

lol wtf are u on. nasus is not god tier...

as a lategame scaling champ Nasus is actually in a pretty shitty spot right now because games end in 25 min and even he is has 300 stacks at that time it's too little to late.

90% of player are "below plat" thats not "lower elo"

and silver is 40% of players right now becuase riot keeps putting completely new players in silver which makes it nearly impossible to climb out of silver because the match is decided based on who got the ACTUAL sliver players based off who got the NEW players.

and becuase of this people stop trying.

the players who ARE bronze stop at silver 5 becuase they dont want to keep play ranked and get demoted to where they belong.

the silver players who have time to play enough ranked games to make their greater skill surpass riots matchmaking randomizer climb.

but not everyone has that time.. and therefore more players get stuck in silver.

until riots gets the freaking act together and STOPS putting new players into silver then silver is always going to be HELL to climb out of becuase even if your gold skill lvl you can't carry 2 fresh lvl thirties who feed thier ass off two to high silver players.

those who are LUCKY enough to have climbed to gold are faced with less new players and therefore can climb faster as team have a significantly higher chance to be even when u enter the rift

no one gives a shit about low elo though.

you could nerf one god tier champ down there and hed be replaced with the next one. champions down there are imbalanced because player skill is wildly inconsistent. thats not something you can fix with champion buffs and nerfs.

exactly. nobody gives a shit about low elo, hence why he was buffed. this guy thinks garen needs a nerf because he's good in low elo.

new players to the game tend to end up in lower elo first.

what youre proposing is backwards balancing. instead of expecting people to eventually get better at the game, you want to balance it around their lazyness and nerf champions that prevent hurdles for them to learn from to make it easier for them.

this approach is not only stupid, but it doesnt even work. there are always some low elo pupstompers that will have an insanely high winrate in the lower divisions. you nerf one of them, and hes going to get replaced by the next.

youve won nothing, while fucking up champion balance for the higher ratings aswell.
