This is the reason why DQ was not a huge success, instead of downvoting can you just post a reply?

It does not seem like it is ledgit, it does not seem like your rankings determine how good you are...

BUT!

Neither did SOLOQ, soloQ did not do the job of determining how good you are because this is a MOBA, so DQ was an UPGRADE to soloQ but the question on the legitimacy of DQ in terms of rankings is still in question... and that's why many people feel disenfranchised..

Remove DQ and we get soloQ and leagues problems persist

Keep DQ: let time pass by to see how DQ can be optimized and provide a better satisfaction and legitimacy with most players, but for now it's a slight mess, to be honest DQ is better than soloQ but only slightly, the issues are still there.

SO THE REAL QUESTION IS: WHAT CAN RIOT DO (US TELLING THEM) TO IMPROVE DQ? Post ideas here.

for me: improve the order pick's chances, right now you have an 80% chance of getting support main role, for mid it's about 55% and that's a HUGE problem, that's how you disenfranchise players and make them hate DQ, other than that i dont have much of a problem with DQ, perhaps ranking needs to be improved too.. post your ideas

They actually already did improve the chance of getting your primary role. I almost always get my primary now, and rarely my secondary - though queue times seem to have become noticeably longer as a result.

As for how to improve Dynamic Queue, I wrote a very long thread, and won't repeat it all here. You can read the old thread if you want. The current state of ranked: the major problems, with some proposed solutions

DQ isn't broken, it's goal is to unite people who play by themselves. it doesn't judge you off ur k/d it judges you off your LP and division.

so.. if DQ isnt broken, why do i have an 80% chance of landing my support role and mid has 55%? there are problems in DQ that Riot can improve/fix

Because no one likes playing support and mid is actually rewarding

DQ is not champ select. They are 2 different systems. Dynamic queue is simple the ability to queue with 2,3,4 or 5 people in a ranked match. Champ select is the process of choosing your primary role and secondary role and the system then allocating you 1 of these.

Noone wants to play support because its unrewarding for most people and unless you have a team with a brain you cant impact the game enough to carry. (unless you go full AP sup but its not always viable)

'so DQ was an UPGRADE to soloQ' I dont see how this is true at ALL. SoloQ had its own problems with competitive integrity yes but DQ just made it 10x worse by adding in many more variables meaning matches are even more unpredictable and unfair than they used to be.
