League is actually pretty balanced currently. Sona got nerfed current patch, so the only broken champ in high elo is Gangplank

i mean, it's not a lie haha. Many people in the midwest start school early in August and end school in May. Others states may start late in August or early September

LCS priority changes, Balance is out of whack and a lot of vets don't care to play in it's current state. I'm a super passionate long time player, and I often ask myself why I log in. The game is in terrible shape.

Agreed. Changes should be based on the massive non pro player base and the pros can figure it out from there. If Riot spent more time making overall champ interactions more fun instead of nerfing what pros play the pros would eventually start playing a wider variety of champs (hopefully)

You know I do think it has a lot of work that needs to be done... but at the same time they are working on it. Completely changing a game is essentially making a new game which takes years - and they are doing it while live balancing the changes along the way. It's not a simple task, so it's really damned hard to say how well it's going.

They reworked the Marksmen and Mages as a category and are working champions to fit into specialized roles. That means that they are adding significant diversity to the game simply by reworking the champions. They can also use this to balance them out a lot. Sure Yas is powerful, maybe it's just because people refuse to play someone different mid and Yas is the counter for the most commonly played champs mid? The champs are made to have strong spots and weak spots and making them more varied means they will counter differently and if a champ starts to get too much traction they won't need a nerf as much as someone different to counter them.

Riot took too long to implement changes, now it looks like the damage has been done, it's not just playerbase numbers, LCS viewers drastically plummeted too.

Dude, the queue times are just because of the new champ select and DQ trying to find solo players to pair up with premades etc. Less players doesn't equal higher queue times.

i uninstalled LoL recently but i plan on reinstalling once things are actually balanced again. I still check boards n updates tho so that i know when things actually get balanced.

Because the entirety of season 6 is AIDS.

The preseason never should have happened, but Riot tripled down on ignoring warnings, logical concerns, and even the most basic forms of common sense, continuing to ruin the game patch after patch. Here's hoping they'll come to their senses, revert even half of the cancerous garbage season 6 introduced, and make League remotely fun to play in season 7. Maybe I'll be back to get my Victorious rewards before this season ends, but I honestly can't stomach logging in anymore.

The reason for increased queue times is Dynamic queue, as rito tries to give you the role you picked.

That. Is not. Dynamic Queue. After so many months of this system being out, how has Riot maintained this level of confusion among so many players? The role selection is separate from DQ, the ability to queue in premade groups. Riot only treats them the same because they want their stats to show people like the DQ system more than they actually do.

sorry community flames in game. There are dumb unblanced champs. and it pretty much is luck as who is on ur team and ur pick order. counterpicks with and op champ is the meta and well as tank jungles. Cool riot. same shit every game nice.

Once you get to gold what reason is there to play anymore?

There is no feeling of superiority in plat or diamond with dynamic since everyone is a boosted animal.

There is no reason to really play this game that once had some degree of integrity about the competitive nature in ranked but does not anymore.

The balance is also out of wack. Things still tend to happen to fast compaired to past season. Armor pen is everywhere and mages are doing insane ammounts of damage making you have to invest more into contending with them then past season. aka damage creep.

Tanks have no real place with % health damage being everywhere and all this armor pen. The only tanks that tend to show up are Ali and Mao in LCS because they actually have % damage reduction built in. many other forms of tankyness are things like invulnerability which is not enjoyable to deal with on champs like Kindred who is part of the class that is suppose to die if they are caught out.

Other then that people do get bored of a game after 4+ years of it having the same general idea. THe map never really changed outside of a few small things here and there.

I still get on once in a while but I have no drive for ranked this season since it literally means nothing. Warframe, pokemon and ironically the best game Ghostcrawler ever worked on (Age of Kings) have kept my gaming happy.

This game has already peaked and is on a decay. Might it find it's way again someday? Perhaps but they will have to change directions before that happens.

There are plenty of tanks being mad obnoxious precisely because all they have is hp. It might not be in the LCS but in many ranked matches. Sejuani, Swain, Malphite, Amumu, Vi, Ekko, Shenn, not to mention any character that has a double gap closer [or effective double if they can easily slow or stun you after it.] Fizz, Zed, Renekton, Khazix, Ekko, Yasuo are all doing fine. It's just that if you don't play one of these double gap closer champs it's really not fun to play at all. Then after losing you get flamed by someone who doesn't actually give a damn about your existence and is just being a spoiled child.

DynamicGarbage and a couple of other decisions about this game (New champs that turned out to be garbage, paper towers, a meta towards extreme snowballing, Graves, Zed), drained the fun for me.

It started with the juggernaut patch which broke several champions Then DynamicQue happened, which most people on the boards went against because it shat on competitive play. Literally people are getting boosted to ranks that are far beyond their comprehension because they have a Plat or Diamond smurf friend who will boost them. Then Overwatch dropped so most people who i know that used to play League now hopped over to the overwatch train.

Dynamic queue; and not in a 'durr dynamic queue sucks and made people leave' kind of way.

Before, when you queued up, matchmaking was only trying to find four other people that were in your MMR, or as close to it as it could if the queue was taking too long. Everyone was thrown into a lobby regardless of desired role, and pick order took over. Now you pick your role AND you have MMR for the system to match you with other people, so it's looking for two things to create a balanced game lobby.

For the record, this is why Riot pretty much ignores their playerbase. Because even if EVERY SINGLE PLAYER who mained a newly reworked champion, let's say... that would be a mere fraction of their playerbase.

No... they're not gonna notice there's a problem until it's been dragging on for so long that it will be VERY hard to come back. They might not even be able to figure out what the major problems ARE due to how easy it will be for them to ignore drops in playerbase. Unless something absurd like a half million people ALL stop playing at once... it'll be just a series of tiny blips on their radar... until it's added up to something big. By then, it might be too late.

Why riot Shat on poppy with that rework is beyond salt inducing. There are just too many annoying fucking champions to deal with and not enough bans to actually have fun in a game instead of just getting stressed out.

Playing against Zed, shaco, lb, ekko, graves, Janna, lulu, riven, gragas, reksai, Malz, swain, Jhin, anda few others is STRESSFUL, not fun, its fucking stressful. Getting bursted or dealing with hyper mobile champs literally makes the inside of my head feel like scratchy cotton.

I logged into the client and immediately logged off. I just can't, not today. Everyone is angry or salty over something. There is no REAL solo q, andhell Aram isn't actually even fucking random, so just prepared to be poked the fuck down there. nah.... Shit isn't fun anymore, I keep playing more out of habit like a drug addict.

instead of playing tonight, I went to reddit,and i came here, and I complained about the Poppy rework all night. I miss Old poppy and old Taric (i REAAAAALY hate Taric's new E) and Nobody at Riot seems to care how I feel about those reworks, especially the Poppy one.

So i've given up trying to be nice or polite, im fucking salty now and im gonna complain like everyone else. Fuck that Poppy rework and Fuck you morello
