The whole premise makes me sad. A single icon. I've won over 600 games and I get an icon to remember the game mode by?
I get that it's work to keep the game mode running. I get that the queue time blew chunks (5 minute queues for a 20 minute game). And I get that bots were a huge issue in the game mode. From a logic stand point I can see why, "cut off the festering limb to save the body" but it feels bad man. [zombie-nunu-tears]
Dunno, I'm not too sad over the loss of it. Like it was said, and extremely low number of people actually played it. Hopefully with it's removal, they will bring featured game modes more frequently to make up for the loss.
How do you even check how many you have?
I love it how I'm getting screwed out of an icon because I don't have 100 wins, even tho I've played well over 200 games of dominion. It sucks that it only counted the games vs actual humans and not games vs bots where I was learning champions combos...
I liked the concept of dominion. It was a learning tool really. Think about it, on summoners rift your priority are towers dragons and baron but in SR you have people that only care about kill count and forget their prioritys...to win in dominion it's all about the priorities you can get 50 kills in a match and still lose cause the other team had 4 towers on lock down, they were getting their priorities and you didnt...just how I saw it.
I use to play it exclusively, but balance got out of whack and the queue times became garbage over time.
