WE FORGOT ABOUT THE JUNGLE PLANTS
I STILL F**KING HATE THEM
I STILL F**KING HATE THEM
The jungle plants are pretty nice, though the only one really worth their weight unless you fuck up your clear or something is the ward revealing one.
I hate the vision one the most just because it covers such a large part of the map.
Otherwise they're all pretty eh.
It's not as bad as having 6 chickens pecking the living shit out of you.
What an amazing surprise! A large part of the community hated something before they even got a chance to experience it. Then when they finally saw what it was all about, they didn't hate it so much.
Genuinely sorry that you personally don't like them, but from what I've seen a large portion of the community has embraced them already.
i dont hate the plants, they're just biased and give certain champs more power than others.
lee sin and ivern hardly benefit at all from red plants. but on eve its amazing to increase clear speed and escape/gap close potential.
green plant is worthless on everyone except a roaming laner who wants to top off before their next engage. its never a difference between taking an additional camp or not, or being capable of ganking vs not ganking as a jungler.
blue is easily the most widely sought after, but it just feels awkward on any ranged champ having to straddle to get it in the spot you want it in. in addition with their fixed locations there is obviously a good spot and a bad spot to use it in, its not like i can turn it onto a lane, forcing me to use it on the river.

Why do Lee Sin and Ivern gethardly any benefit at all? I honestly can't think of any champion that doesn't get any benefit from the Blasting Cone. Even the champions who have ways to hop over walls, have cooldowns and resource costs Lee Sin has to use a trinket and his Safeguard to jump over walls, which means they are both on cooldown. Ivern can only jump to targets that he has landed Rootcaller on, .. another cooldown, mana cost, and low opportunity placement. ... Please explain more if you could because I am genuinely curious.

A free sustain source is only worthless on champions who are full health or have superior sustain from their kit or build. There is bound to be someone on your team who can utilize these. And they are definitely strong for roaming champions, but they are also positioned near major objectives like Dragon, Rift Herald, and Baron.

I'm actually a incredibly surprised to hear a second person complain about the 'difficulty' caused by the range discrepancy when attacking the Scryer's Bloom. I honestly don't see what the big deal is. It isn't exactly a skill shot. You have a very long and fairly wide cone that shows you exactly what area will be revealed before you attack the plant. You don't need to line it up just right, just get close and fire.
jungle camps are stationary and due to the position of reds, you would need to be heading from river to camp to largely benefit otherwise its more beneficial to use iverns/lees Q instead of going for the red to get to the camp.
if you are heading from base -> camp using your abilities is a faster means of travel. if you are invading then the reds become useful for closing some distance.
lees Q is always off CD between camps unless you finish a camp with your Q.
its not that they cant benefit, its that they really dont in practice, and those without are the real beneficiaries.
greens are just too weak and insignificant, no1 goes out of their way to take them for the health, every single champ is sustained quite nicely, unless you're sitting on a huge amount of gold and you should be backing instead of clearing another camp.
They aren't as bad as I initially thought they would be, but I'm not a fan of them. I've used them to great effect in many situations but their usage has rarely been rarely planned.
Honestly, I just don't see the point of them.
