So Which Champs Do You All Think Got Destroyed By New Jungle? Any Thoughts About New Jungle Champs?

I've been having mostly a great time with my new adjustment of playing in the jungle and have had a ton of fun playing the junglers I own, but I'm sure most of you are having the same trouble that I am with the issue being that it isn't the jungle it used to be and these new items throwing a wrench in your build recipes. Nautilus I was having some trouble with, I actually just bought Sejuani the other day and I totally regretted not buying her sooner, as she is now my new favorite jungler. Pantheon seems to still be his usual attack blocking self. I still have a nice pile of champs in my pool to check with the jungle on their end. But I was curious who everyone thought was more or less a ruined jungle champ and who could possibly be a new jungle champ if anyone~ Also super excited for Poro Rider Sejuani ~!

Most of my favorite junglers don't work well anymore. Even my favorite, Jungle Fizz (It's a thing... >.>)

The problem is that the new item has locked stats. Damage dealers get the same bonus damage from it as tanks, and also the same HP regen, when before they got % damage and damage on AA, and healing based on %damage-done. I think if they want to fix this, they have to somehow bring that back. Squishy characters can't sustain enough anymore, and the slower tanky characters can't kill things fast enough so the jungle out damages their sustain too. I have mained jungle since S2, and since this update, I don't feel like jungling anymore.

Warwick is extremely good right now with devourer and champ-targeting smites.

I have fun doing AP Warwick and just walk around swinging my Q and life stealing everyone to death by taking out almost half their bar. Fiddlesticks is always a good time just because everyone hates his spook and the crow toss~ But as for my "New junglers" question, I had a friend tell me that jungling Yasuo and a few others might be possible with the new items.

Well, Wukong's route is now Gromp/Rockbros, Buff, Camp, Camp, (if you have health from a good leash) Camp, recall, straight to Buff

It's not that bad or anything because you recall, buy the purple smite and a few potions and you're good for a bit, but that first bit is not only horrendously dangerous as far as getting counterjungled goes, because you WILL die, but if you don't get a great leash you can't do the addition camp which sets you behind.

The upside is that you have a red buff a little later than you otherwise would have, i guess. Not that red buff matters tbh, buff sucks now. Shouldn't have been altered.

yeah i think i just have to mess around more. only played one real game with nocturne (played some bot games at my friends just to get a feel, haven't got a chance to fine tune yet. my game with nocturne went extremely well in the jungle however and i think i should be just fine, even with naut! might have to change my meta up a bit

Well, I feel like Skarner got hit hard on the mana regen changes, even if he works decent otherwise.

Feeling pretty positive about fiddle in solo q. You can solo drag after your first back, level 3 drain, and blue. That first drag is a huge buff aswell and since you don't lose any health he is a great sustain champ.

I feel like all the champs who have jungle as their main role will be fine, it's just a matter of finding out the optimal path and leash for them.

Also, I think the increased cost ofmachete was just a huge hint that we should be backing earlier for the upgraded smite. If you could still buy machete + 4, and the second Tier jungle item was more expensive, people would sit out and farm more before their first back which means more farming with a weaker smite (that, or the counter jungling would be a lot worse). At the new cost, you can upgrade smite and restock potions after a few camps, after your first recall the jungle isn't that hard anymore (at least with trailblazer, especially if you know their jungler isn't there so you can use the aoe stun on the smite), if you just farm you should easily be able to get the enchantment on your next back. Just get some mana pots if you're mana hungry as blue doesn't last as long and you have a recall in there now.
