At low elo? No. Just no.

Higher elos? You can, but it's not the easiest.

I'd say overall across all the elos, top is probably the easiest. It's the most forgiving. You usually aren't dealing with the 100-0 crap everyone else is, so making a mistake or two usually isn't life ending. Top ganks are more rare as they are less rewarding (double kills and dragon bot).

If we're talking about the BEST position to carry from, then it's jungle hands down. A good jungler will handily win games, but it's also a position where mistakes can be costly. That's why I didn't say Jungle is the easiest. You really have to know what you're doing.

mid seems much safer than top, if you lose your lane as a top things can be very nasty for you, if you lose your lane as a mid it's usually manageable because the lane is so short and easy to farm passively when on top they can zone you bad
