My honest Opinion about Qiyana

DISCLAIMER: I'm currently placed in gold, so please don't come here to say that she sucks in pro play.

I've been playing a lot of Qiyana since she came out (i've only played 4 games lul) and I completely fell in love with her kit, mostly because she's an assassin that requires some skill to be played. Here, i'm going to point out some things that must be changed on her on my opinion.

Lets start with the abilities:

  • Passive - Royal Privilege

Its a balanced passive in terms of damage, but the cooldown of it is way too high. Reduce it to 15 seconds.

  • Q - Edge of Ixtal / Elemental Wrath

I really like the way the reset works, it can lead to awesome outplays. The damage is high but you get punished really hard if you miss it.

The River element needs a buff on the CC, make the root last at 0.75 seconds, and maybe change the slow to 0.75 seconds too. This way, her CC part gets buffed but doesn't exceed the 1.5 seconds duration that it already has.

The invisibility zone of the Brush element needs to be a bit bigger, or permanent.

The Terrain element feels good, I wouldn't change anything.

  • W - Terrashape

This is the most important ability on her kit. It gives her a dash, movement speed out of combat, and attack speed with a magic damage bonus. I feel that this ability's cooldown is higher than it should be, even with all those bonuses. In a teamfight, the only thing useful is the dash. You're too squishy to use the bonus attack speed and magic damage from autos. Maybe increase her range to 200 when she has a element equipped. You need this ability if you want to reset the Q, and if it got a 4 second cooldown with 40% CDR, in a teamfight it's do or die. Add a scaling to the cooldown, making it go from 7.5 seconds to 5.5 seconds.

  • E - Audacity

Overall, a decent ability. Procs the passive and deals damage. The interaction with her Q feels really good.

  • R - Supreme Display of Talent

Feels nice to play with it, but I think it may need some extra knockback.

Now onto the gameplay itself:

Her early game feels neither good nor bad, it's just okay.

Her mid game is where she shines. She can one-shot you easily with her basic combo (E+Q, with Brush or River element, then W+AA+Electrocute+Q with the Earth element).

Her late game feels extremely weak compared to the other assassins. She has decent AoE damage, but it's kind of hard to kill someone in a teamfight without getting killed first.

About the lanes:

In mid lane, she's fine. She can play with the three elements easily.

In jungle, she feels weak against the camps. Even in mid/late game she loses a lot more HP than the other junglers.

I mean, theres way too much power on that R to the point she only works as a champion if she R's people. If they took off a good chunk of the % max health damage on R and put it elsewhere that would be great. They need that kit to be more skill expressive to balance it out, cuz once people find the right playstyle, I feel that ult is gonna be a huge reason for her to sport a high winrate at some point.

her passive cooldown is not too high. because you're having fun with her right away, quick tip, switch elements after applying one, always switch unless you just can't. enjoy. don't get qiqi nerfed please.
