So I play ADC an awful lot, on some champs like Twitch and Lucian I like to get Blade of the Ruined King, but if that big isn't fixed, won't everyone start yelling at me and saying I'm cheating? Because I still want to use the item but I don't wanna get reported for not even using the glitch! Halp! I have been to afraid to even buy Blade of the Ruined King since the bug reports!
Play normally with it and you'll be fine. The exploit in question requires file modifications, it's not just people taking advantage of a bug.
It's not a bug really... you can't make it happen by accident and you would need to use a 3rd party software to do it, so don't worry.
Riot has systems that can detect whether or not you're using the exploit. Buying BORK doesn't activate it so you won't set off any red flags. I wouldn't worry about it.
Don't attempt to "recreate" the exploit, and you have nothing to be afraid of.
I don't think its possible to accidentally trigger the glitch. I'm pretty sure the people who are using it are using a program.
Hey Meddler, is it possible to have a server side check for accounts as they log in? What I mean is if someone has modified files that dont align with what they should be , they cant log in/get flagged. So in this case, the check would scan the files and see that there is added or changed code and then the account would be flagged/not allowed access.
I know if this was possible that it would affect those that use custom skins and other things that have no effect on the gameplay, but it would be helpfull against hacks, exploits, scripters, and bots. Honestly it would be a small price to pay to get rid of all the nasty things that are becoming increasingly popular.
@Riot @Meddler When are we going to get an end game report option for Cheating/Hacking/Scripting/Botting/Exploiting? I just got out of a ranked game where the Udyr on my team was using the BORK glitch and I had to spend 20 minutes going to your support site to open a report ticket. It isn't fair to the team that I played against that the option isn't even there. I felt bad for them, so I went out of my way to go to the support page and report him. Most people won't go to your report page to report someone because of how long it takes and how frequently this debauchery occurs.
I think you'll be fine, because the people that are using the BoRK hack don't have BoRK in their inventory.

Simple solution! Don't hack. Unless you're one shotting their entire team, I doubt youll get reported:P
it'll be really obvious if you were using the exploit/hack and if i remember correctly, i eard you don't even need bork to do it
well, my last game was with BotRK... (although Co-op vs AI) and it's normal... maybe there's something else that triggers the bug... which i don't know what...
