"I think I see the problem... your toilet has a shocky thing in it"

I believe so, as he is a tank who barely builds any damage items and relies on his AOE CC and damage to become a threat in teamfights.

you want DEEPS!?!?! I GIVE YOU DEEPS!

item 3071 item 3022 item 3748 item 3053 and item 3110 for max cdr.

Wait i thought thats was his tankyness chart.

Sire Hippington1/5/2016, 3:27:39 PM8 votes

well, thats the damage curve of nearly any tank or bruiser, unless they built agressive, but than their tankiness curve looks like that. It's also the powercurve of most melees that don't have a huge aoe cc or great burst+mobillity. Nearly all tanks/bruisers have a good winrate till min 30-40, and after that it drops hard.

This more accurately represents how good his passive is as the game goes on.

As a Sion main, I strongly have to disagree.

His Q has an insane scaling, his W does max hp % dmg, and his E shreds armor.

I usually build a Frozen Mallet and Titanic Hydra, and now I'm an incredibly tanky, unpeelable killing machine with a Q that takes off half a squishy's health. Combo Sion Q with the Hydra active, reset AA, explode shield, E, and AA reset, and now they've been 100 - 0 by a tank with no chance of escape.

Tbh my biggest problem with Sion is that for having such a low damage output, he isn't even particularly tanky. He has low base stats, and he has to get 100+ CS just to match other tanks for HP. In lane you rely mostly on E because the damage from Q and W is unreliable, and if you die, in most occasions your passive is only good to get extra CS or hit a tower a few times. In teamfights, Sion's presence is basically limited to an ult until he gets item 3748, and even then he has to pray no one uses any CC on him.

Gigahappytown1/5/2016, 11:11:08 PM2 votes

Sion doesn't need damage

40% cdr sion is disgusting and impossible to run away from without high mobility and very easy to build while remaining tanky.

sion is also in a good spot right now despite the circlejerking that hes "too easy to dodge"

TurquoiseYoshi1/5/2016, 8:51:32 PM2 votes

To be fair, that's most tanks. They do a little early because everybody does, they do a lot in the mid game because they've built only items for laning and winning lane duels, and then fall off completely late because everyone else is still building damage items while you're building for HP/resistances.

ARequestOfDeath1/6/2016, 12:20:26 AM2 votes

at least he isn't in his old state which is this pic but upside down

CoolKnightST1/5/2016, 6:29:32 PM2 votes

What if we buff his base AD damage?? His base damage was never that impressive. I think it would intressting to buff him in that area so things like item 3025 would become really intressting on him and since he's a tank that primary deals physical damage it would help him a lot.

An alternative option would be an buff to his base health scaling. Could help him a lot when he get's outscaled add some point.

I played a lot of sion jungle in the past few months and his dmg output is one of the highest among tanks. I am consistently in top 3 dmg dealers of the team(building full tank). His only problem is that all of his skills are unreliable and easy to dodge although you can increase your chances of success with smart play. Fun fact: his w deals 14% max health + some flat...and it's aoe. Even if you missed your R and Q just make sure you detonate it and your damage curve will suddenly be not so bad.
