So for all the people who complain about lee sin. Wut elo are you in

Im really curious. Is it high diamond where he becomes a problem? All the lee sin's in gold miss their Q's and try ward jumping with 200 ping.

ELO =/= Skill

I've met Diamond 5 Threshes lost to my Silver 2 at the time Bard.

I've met Diamond 2 Kats lose to Plat 2 Dianas.

Diana is a counter-pick to Katarina.

Diana has every advantage in that lane with the exception of ability-spam.

Still, by OP's logic the Katarina should have more skill to outplay the Diana. :l

it's natural for people to hate on lee, zed, riven, yasuo and other champions that are slightly annoying to play against while completely defending actual cancer in the game such as malphite, maokai, soraka, ekko and tons of other champs that stay problematic and cancer to play against no matter what balancing they get.

Nothing against his kit, just so fucking tired of seeing him every game.

Except you dont see him in every game at all. So other than hyperbole do you actually have a reason?

He has the kit of five champions.

Okay ill try this again. OTHER THAN HYPERBOLE do you have a reason?

I think the main complains are how much damage he can do, with the type of safety he has. Im assuming it can be extremely abused in high elo play, but idk whats its like for everyone else xp

Practically every assassin in the game does a lot of damage and has a lot of safety. People think lee is a bruiser but he is closer to an assassin early-mid game. He's really not that different from leblanc in terms of damage, utility, and mobility.

He's a very cheesy champion with high base damage + good ratios that has all the tools to hyper carry games, but is reliant on the player itself to do so. His kit is also very safe, versatile, and all around a really good/borderline perfect kit. He's arguably the best champion in the game, but is also so popular that most players that pick him don't know how to play him, while the people that do play him on an absurd level make him look blatantly broken.

Lee Sin is also one of the few champions that can build absolutely whatever he wants, and still be good.

His only real downside is 90% of Lee players don't know what to do after the 30 minute mark since they relied on cheese to win in the first 10-15 minutes of the game and are not accustomed to late game strategies/tactics other than the try to steal baron/dragon with Qs and kick the adc and hope you kill them instantly.

I dont disagree with any of that except the build part because that's just not true if you wanna argue that my 6 tear of the goddess build is gonna leave you in tears. Now sure he can build anything that synergizes with him and be good but that's almost everyone. The issue of the lee sin hate I have is that the people who are actually good at lee sin are in diamond and challenger. If you dont play in these elos hes not even close to good in fact you have a higher chance of winning that game if you are against him. You can dedicate lots of time to him and be good enough for the elo you are at but its statistically unlikely you are going to do well.

The guy im quoting in particular is claiming he is in every game. Guy hasn't even seen a lee sin in 2 days which is as far back as I could check. A lot of people on this board say they see X champion every game and for once I want to see that be true or at least if he is complaining about that then at least have 1 game with him in it not straight up zero. At best he should have said im fucking tired of lying about how often I see him.

I don't know about that other guy.

But, I play a lot of Kindred + Rek'sai.

I see him a lot. He's also a go to champion for diamond/challenger/master smurfs. I face them a lot, and or get them on my team.

In just my basic client match history page on this account is 5 games with Lee Sin alone. That's not including over the last 3 weeks.

That's not including my smurf account either.

I play bots and ARAM, as my match history can attest. Got tired of seeing the same shit over in over in Normals. Lee literally has the highest pick rate in the game. No one is exaggerating his popularity. He literally appears in a third of all games, if not more.

A third =/= every game. Also someone has to be the highest. its not like there is that huge a difference at the top popularities. And once again. You dont actually see lee sin much at all so why complain about something that isn't actually happening to you? Like cool he is picked a lot but you arent seeing him in a third of your games. Rarely does anyone who makes these overpicked complaints actually see the champion they are complaining about more than half of their most recent games. At best you hate him because of perception created by idk boards?

Usually its like jax or mundo in the jungle right now, or xin, at least in low gold

The only people who have a case for calling Lee Sin OP are Masters+ players and they're too busy playing the game to come here and complain about him. All the silver players complaining about him on these boards? You never see one good enough to realize his potential anyway unless it's a smurf, in which case they would have destroyed you with any champion.
