Can we ever change the surrender vote?

I've never heard the reason why from riot, that a 3/2 surrender vote doesn't go through. It's the majority? I mean a simple duo in normals or ranked can hold you hostage in a hopelessly lost game.

Why is this even still a thing?

I like how Dawngate does surrender votes, if you dont vote it counts as an "i dont care", so if 2 vote yes, 1 votes no and 2 don't vote then it passes with a 66%, this is the minimum. Secondly once your team is behind a certain number of kills i think its like 10 or so, then surrender opens early so people can vote once the game is hopeless.

They also open the surrender vote once the gold lead is a certain amount even if you arent behind a trillion kills. I think Riot should implement these changes.

Because Rito wants it NOT to be easy to surrender. MANY threads about surrender.

Some want 3-2. Some want 5-0. Some want NO surrender.

What exists must be good (since everyone seems to hate it).

I'm torn on this one. People do tend to panic at the smallest deficit and declare "GG" and try to surrender. Especially at my silver elo, it's almost a guarantee, the enemy team is GOING to screw up at one point just like our team did. It's not that uncommon to win a game you were way behind in. Then there are the other times, when it's clear the game is lost and two people hold you hostage in it. It's very frustrating, but I think a premature surrender in a game that can be won would be a lot more frustrating.

well, wouldn't it just make sense if the majority of the people on your team feel like it's good to be over with to just...be done?

I don't understand the no surrender mentality at all, like I can admit there were a couple time i wanted to surrender and we won miraculously, but majority of the time when they're ahead in dragons, 20K gold, and 30 kills (literally) can we not just call it quits?

I'm the kind of person the longer i'm forced to be shat on the more likely I am to tilt and throw anyways, because I'd rather just get it off my plat and move on, put it behind it behind me.

The before 20 thing would be nice too.

If I vote surrender and two people vote no, then I change my vote to no

if 2 people keep procrastinating a really loosing game you can always stop playing and let the enemy team push i always do that

It should only take 3 out of 5 players (the majority) to surrender. Riot knows this. They use 3 as a majority in One For All. Riot is clearly trolling players by requiring 4 players out of 5 to surrender, which is very much uncalled for and shame on them for it.

I don't care that it's 3-2, I hate that it's at 20 seeing as how the game is now much faster due to the newer champions than it used to be back when Malphite's ult and Amumu's Q were considered "Mobility at its finest."

I would like it to be 3-2.
