Why Janna is the number 1 Support this entire season and will be forever

Because riot doesn't even test their changes.

Lets go into a history of supports.

Let me remind you there was never a point where supports weren't viable in all the seasons. It's just they aren't "fun." Buffed for FUNS sake.

"Supports don't get enough gold."** First issue.**

Solution? Give all supports extreme high base stats on their defensive cooldowns AND give them very short cooldowns.

"Supports don't scale." second issue.

Introduce some aoe shields and ally buffs in items.

"It doesn't feel rewarding to buy items that give us actives. We need SCALING." Issue that broke the camels back

Introduce %shield and heal scaling on TANKY ITEMS WITH ACTIVES THAT FURTHER INCREASE DEFENSIVE COOLDOWNS.

Ignore janna or karma or soraka and never kill a single person for the entire game. Focus them and never kill them because every item they bought gives a crapton of tank stats. All the while their entire kit and ITEMS are increased by 30% in effectiveness with 0 ap investment. AP investment is COMPOUNDED on this, bringing the scaling up multiplicatively instead of additive like every other caster.

This is why I tend to dodge when i see janna or karma pick on the enemy team. It's like a trollfest trying to kill ANYONE on the enemy team.

What are the solutions?

One of these 3 FREEBIES must be comletely removed from the game. No number changes. One has to go. Either their base numbers are extremely low like every other caster, their tankiness and free cooldowns are removed, or their % scaling is scrapped.

It's nonsense that a damage dealer has to build glass to deal damage but a support who is nothing but a caster for defense can build full tank AND SCALE.
