So how useless is stealth going to be?

At 10:34 in this video, we get an idea of what the new stealth might look like. He also talks about removing pink wards so you can't be countered by 75gold. It seems like it's going to be changed from a way to sneak around into a long untargetable (most of the time) ability. When I first saw this I thought it was a really bad call actually. But now I'm more in the middle. However overall it seems like a bad change. If they do go this route, they can't just make where you are blurry or stealth will become near useless. There are so many skill shot with cc on them and abilities that give you vision. I am also concerned that the cloak field may have some sort of pattern to it and I hope that's not the case either. It just feels like if they update stealth in this way they may also have to buff a lot of the champions with stealth. This will be killing so much outplay potential you have with stealth. As well as ways to sneak in to kill your target. I'm not sure how this is going to turn out but I'm not excited to find out.
