playing riven with cleaver (40 % cdr) without cdr boots makes me to go mercury treads or ninja tabis.. now my question is what happens if i dont buy boots and buy antoher dmg item or def item??? im diamond 5 atm for everyone dat thinks im bronze or silver... i think if you dont buy boots u can stack more ad but is it worth to not buy boots cause often u dont have full build anyway? does riven need dat ms if she has 40 cdr and she gets ms from cleaver while attacking since her dashes are not affected by ms.

i buy brutalizer and sell it later.. i have 15 cdr scaling runes so i dont need bruta-- there are better items then youmuss

Probably not. I've watched BestRivenNA stream and he doesnt grab boots at all. He usually build item 3072, but I personally like to build item 3156 for more survivability and it still gives good damage. Just my opinion tho.

I personally hate playing her without boots, I feel too reliant on my Q to go places and too vulnerable when it's on CD. That said, experiment for yourself, track your win/loss with either strat, and report results.

You have QSS? Any reason not to fully build the Mercurial Scimitar? It's 5 more MR, 80 more AD and keeps the Quicksilver active.

I generally always build boots just so I can save my Qs for engaging if needed (low elo is unpredictable) though I supposed you could switch them out of zephyr
