Easy fix to the HUD complaints
Just make the HUD toggleable , people who liked the old HUD can play on the old HUD and people that like the new HUD can play on the new one . Everyone's happy.

I personally like the new HUD, I think people complain only cause they don't know how to resize it lol.
This man must be some sort of genius! Who would have thought that letting people chose between 2 things means they always get what they want?!
I agree with your statement that if the old HUD was accessible to both old players as well as new players that it would make personalizing your League open and peoples comfort levels open for their own debate. The new HUD offers a lot, but denies old routines and objects to it where as leaving it up to the player doesn't deny anything to anyone but doesn't close any doors. Also I recall in an patch update that Riot said that all old HUDs would be accessible and you could use the new UI to mess around with on your own time and to your own liking. Playing through the new HUD I found that I could not ping how I used to nor was I able to find an easy change back. Such as the small character faces are very hard to see and tell at a glance weather or not if Ults are up.
