The enemy hecarim jungle had ganked 10 times in the first 10 minutes and gotten their lanes ahead...and our vi is playing PVE with the jungle map and just keeps yelling at us that we're bad and "got fked 1v1" over and over. I don't think she ganked a single lane all game. I have to wonder how these types of people even function in real life.

I Kill Commies1 votesThe sion was perfectly gankable. I'm not sure why you immediately assume he wasn't. Actually the sion was pushed up rather far in lane and didn't ward. Hecarim kept going top and tower diving our top lane over and over. Still Vi didn't help once.

Do you know what ad hominem is? It's using an irrelevant fact about someone to discredit their argument. Ad hominem would be if I said "You're opinion is worthless because you play X champ and I think X champ is OP and stupid". However, in this context your rank is completely relevant. A league rank directly shows how good you are at the game, and we are discussing game strategy: specifically whether or not a lane was gankable. If a challenger player says "that lane is gankable" and bronze 5 player says "no it isn't", who's opinion do you think is valuable, and who's is worthless? It's not ad hominem to say that a bronze 5 player's opinion is worthless in that situation, just like it's not ad hominem to say that a layman's opinion on how to properly design an airplane is worthless compared to that of an aeronautical engineer's. That was obviously an extreme example, you are far from bronze 5 and I am far from challenger, but the point still stands. I was too harsh in calling your opinion worthless, but all the same: I was actually in the game. I saw top lane, it was the enemy laner who was pushed, with no wards and no flash as well. I sure as hell didn't push mid lane, I was too scared to knowing that hecarim was riding my ass. Op top of that, I'm over a full division higher in rank than you and I main jungle, and it is my opinion that top lane could have been a feeding frenzy on that sion if Vi would have just ganked. Yet you just keep saying "nah you were probably pushed and that's why vi didn't gank". Who's opinion is more credible?

Maybe not fun, but if a player significantly higher rank told me that I had no idea what I was doing, I'd probably believe them. I do have absolutely no idea what I'm doing compared to a diamond/challenger player.

What argument? Top lane was easily gankable, and our vi just flat out refused for no reason. That's not an argument that's a fact, one which I have clearly already stated.

Uh ok, I guess there's trash in all tiers. But the worst diamond player (barring those who got elo boosted) is still 100x better than the best player who is stuck in bronze. And nobody is using "just difference in status" as a reason for something being wrong. I'm just saying that when two people have a disagreement over the proper strategy, it's not ad hominem to say that the higher ranked player's opinion is probably the more correct one. I'm not trying to say that because my rank is a bit higher than yours that makes you wrong about everything you say. All I'm saying is that I was actually there in the game and I know what went on. You weren't. When I say that top lane was an easy gank, and you say "nah they were probably pushed", my opinion is far more credible than yours.

However, your poor use of got was not serious, it was the first sentence which I really got hung up on. You should have ended your sentence at "ahead," because one period would have worked just fine. I also found your closing remarks as flat and shallow. I failed to understand why you had the impression that Vi would struggle with real world function. Perhaps some more evidence to support your outlandish claims could be in order. Being bad at a video games hardly constitutes that sort of verbal abuse. I look forward to your response.
