You passive won't go off if you dont have full stacks , and they drop off really fast , even against minions which is really annoying

u literally have to get 3-4 stacks on blood well and sit without using abilities ( not even empowered w ) so that you are in a position to take a fight or to make your passive proc

Tank builds are probably the only ones that you can go for or you might just die without blood rush in team fights

Aatrox is kinda like gnar now

aatrox is absolute trash now. i'd take the older aatrox anytime with a fixed Q. i wouldnt even care about his rework aslong as his Q got actually fixed.

Riot kinda opened up that option to play more tanky but at the same time they are enforcing it.^^

He works as a tanky diver, its not overwhelming but as always if you are just BETTER you can carry too.

It's definitely far from being useless or complete garbage.

If you still try to build Aatrox like a Master Yi with his current kit you are not doing yourself a favour, it's inefficient ... well actually I'd say it's a troll build at best.

Gnar is ranged and is practically forced to build item 3071 item 3022 every game because he is useless in lane without his team. One of the worst solo queue champions right now, but great when your team can actually coordinate with him so that he has Mega form every time your team needs it. People don't let you tank Raptors for rage simply because "you're taking their farm." Great champion.

This new Aatrox isn't even Aatrox anymore. He has builds that are working out in tests but he plays entirely different. One attack speed item into full tank/bruiser. That's great and all but that won't make his old playerbase happy, since they enjoyed the feast or famine aspect of Aatrox (despite everything), like full AD or full AP. I'm okay using this myself since I wasn't using him for a number of seasons, but rip Aatrox mains.

Also, the stacks remain as long as you're "in-combat." Bami's Cinder easily keeps it up, though I'm just using the example.

I was pretty sure this wasn't correct. I verified in a bot game and in the Practice Tool that if you are not at full stacks, you have to keep in combat with minions to keep the gray.

For me it's bugged, and i have to keep generating stacks.
