Hey man i get what youre saying, but in this context its really not cool. Eternals are in and out of game stat tracking which are either general or champion specific. They do not;
Eternals are not something that should be monetized because theyre literally stack trackers, a basic functionality in almost every other competitive game, and riots monetization is based on cosmetics, not functions.
Eternals are extremely scummy. Imagine paying for in-game achievements and stat tracking in CoD, HALO, or battlefield; Those fanbases would riot. Its arguably even more scummy that loot boxes, because its paradox level BS.
