Ezreal counters Blitzcrank?
I've noticed that Ezreal has been able to use his E while being pulled by Blitzcrank. I don't think I remember it being that way. Is this a bug, or does Ezreal just counter him that hard?

It's an intended mechanic. Arcane Shift has a cast time (more like a delay) that can't be interrupted, so hitting it in time will make you shift after you get grabbed. It's kind of like being displaced after you are grabbed so the pull is interrupted. I think he is unique in this due to that delay.
This seems most likely if there is not indeed a bug.
It shouldn't be that unique. Another common example for this is Trist's Rocket Jump, which works just the same way.
Kassadins Riftwalk, or generally a lot of spells have a casttime, often just so short that it's hardly noticable, Ezreal's E just gets noticed most due to it's compareable really long casttime. (Same is with Ezreal and Lux ult, but only can be interrupted by death, and no CC what so ever, the casttime just has to start before the CC hits)
they probably pressed the buttons around the same time so it registered the grab but also registered the blink and as exreal is removed from the map during his E it counteracts the grab.
Yeah Ezreal is a bad matchup for Blitz. His E can get out of grab if timed. Not to mention his range and when he gets Sheen early game he is scary.
The one tip that was told to me in a match that against Ezreal, it is sometimes better to W then E him or
, E, Q rather than using your Q to engage. This way you can surprise him and save something for when he uses E.
Idk dude. It REALLY seemed like he could just E right out of the pull regardless of timing. If someone would check it out, and let me know, that would be awesome.
It's just spaghetti coding, but yeah. Any movement ability that has a cast time will cast even after the grab lands. Effectively making it (the grab) do nothing.
