Is there a reason that Banshee's builds out of Null Magic Mantle instead of Negatron Cloak? If I'm buying the item it's because I want the MR and spellshield, usually because I'm struggle against whoever my lane opponent is, but I end up having to keep a pretty weak MR item for a long time while I get the other pieces to complete the item. The completion cost for the item is 800g so it doesn't make sense why the cost of negatron can't be subtracted from that to me.

I think it's because Riot didn't want someone to just sit on Negatron for half the game. It's fairly cost efficient, and would basically mean an automatic "lmao I can't die" for most midlaners.
