New masteries thoughts 001 preseason 7

. This is just a sort of first look at the new masteries for preseason 7. I just finished playing 2 games after updating league and I had not played the game for 2 days now. But I must say, I really love the turn where masteries reward you for some extra things that I do normally in lane. I always find that farming in a lane until we group for teamfights was boring so I play with a high poke style. The new masteries so far have rewarded me a bit for this playstyle and I really like it. Here are some reasons why.

. I recently started using feast in my masteries over double edge sword before the update because that with vampirism is quite a good amount of sustain for laning and you don't suffer from taking extra damage with the old double edged sword. But the new mastery fresh blood is completely different. At first I thought that the damage was quite low considering it only worked on the first auto attack every 6 seconds on champs and feast would be much better with the sustain. But then I thought of the perfect champ to use the mastery fresh blood on and that was my favorite poke adc champ, caitlyn. With her high range she can easily pop fresh blood pokes every 6 seconds when in ranged so it's a nice chunk of extra damage on your pokes every now and then while farming which is cool and fun.

. The next mastery that I find really awesome and kind of like a mini game in of it's own is green father's gift. Again since I normally play an aggressive poke style, this mastery helps because normally after i poke someone with an auto attack or two I would immediately dive into a bush to try to lose some minion aggro. Getting a damage boost every now and then (9 seconds) for doing so helps makes my poke a bit more apparent rather than me tickling a tank/bruiser support and lose almost as much health from minion aggro. The old mastery bandit was an okay mastery for me considering I loved to poke a lot so getting some gold was nice and better than nothing, but now being able to get a small bit of oomph to my pokes is AWESOME!

. One very scary mastery that I haven't gone up against yet though is courage of the colossus. To get a shield that scales i think even better than thunderlords when hitting an enemy champ with hard cc sounds kind of ridiculous. I can't really say how strong it is since I haven't been against it yet but a tank mastery that scales like thunderlords....I don't know what to say to that. I'm jaw dropped.

. Anyway I understand all of this is subject to change but I just wanted to voice my opinions on what I thought so far and I really like the 2 new masteries I mentioned before as well as feror's change. Thanks for reading

By the way, indenting doesn't work too well as tab and typing space 5 times doesn't really do anything to make this huge mass of writing look more organized
