How is dark binding the only thing I see people complain about on Morgana
Why does a champion that can make themselves immune to CC need an ultimate that can't be interrupted?
Soul Shackles ACTIVE: After a 0.5 seconds delay, Morgana latches chains of energy onto nearby enemy champions, dealing initial magic damage. The tethers grant True Sight icon true sight of affected enemies and Slow icon slow them by 20%. 「 MAGIC DAMAGE: 150 / 225 / 300 (+ 70% AP) 」 Targets who did not leave the tether range after 3 seconds are Stun icon stunned for 1.5 seconds and dealt the same magic damage again.
People on the boards like to talk about overloaded abilities, and this is a great one to talk about
non-skillshot can hit every member of the enemy team high Instant damage 20% slow for it's duration stun more damage cannot be interrupted, you have to get 600/1050 units away from the champion to break the tether or suffer all the effects.
This might even be reasonable on a champion that could be slowed, rooted, or in any way stopped. Instead Black Shield makes her immune to everything unless your team is capable of nuking her out of existence (too bad she has a Zhonyas). Of course either way your team is left in a horrible position for the upcoming teamfight.
Why is everything on Morgana's kit so powerful Q tons of damage and a root W her only ability without CC, but gives respectable damage and waveclear E Immunity button. Makes one person immune to all CC, and also has a large base magic shield and a very respectable ratio. R this abilities overload is the point of this thread.
My final question. How in the hell is Morgana's kit "ok" enough for her to get minimal changes in a rework. She has an identity crisis between burst mage, control mage, and enchantress that needs to be settled being two would be fine, but she's all three. Any time a champion fits easily into three categories they need to be viewed as someone with an identity crisis.
