A Question on Yuumi´s Laning-Phase

Hey there, i love new champs, i love Supports, i love Cats. I do have big concerns about Yuumi and her laneing phase though. How is her ADC supposed to survive? Recently the laneing phase is mostly carried by Dmg and CC, which, i assume, Yuumi will not offer to a great extend. It might feel to the Adc like playing 1v2 early (foremost, utility-Supports doesnt offer great utility in the early game).

Im curious how the Playtests results might agree or disagree with what im currently guessing. Is Yuumi really weak in the 2v2 laneing Phase and Shows off in Teamfights/ mid/late- game? Or what might prevent her laneing phase from beeing as bad as i assume?

it depend on how strong her Q is and her auto range

if she can proc the passive easily she can have shields while harassing with missile Q and sustain with E

she dont have great disengage early so like sona she will get fucked by hard engaging champions i assume (also if blitz can hook both with 1 hook that might be a problem :P)

As for laning phase, it might be really safe for her because of her W, but I don't think she'll be able to provide alot of dmg (unless she sad rly good scalings on her Q) and CC, only shields and heals

Well what i at expect for Yuumi to be viable as support in this meta to have high base damage (see brand and zyra 's base damage from their abilities) but with semi-high ap scalings so her heal is similar to nami W heal level and shield should be a short duration lulu shield. Now i dont know if her Q will have tons of damage and a small slow or it will be a big slow with some damage for little poke. I mean i cant see any other way for her to work unless she gives armor and mr and hp regen passively to the target she is bonded.

I mean she does have poke with Q and lane sustain with E. Gonna depend on numbers i guess
