This refers to tanks. When building a tank I understand that you buy MR for AP protection and you buy Armor for AD protection. But is it better to get a lot of armor and magic resist or health? When I jungle amumu I run the health enchantment stalkers blade, an abyssal scepter for power and MR, a banshees veil, frozen heart or thornmail, boots (vary), and then a warmogs. This build works for me, I get pretty tanky, but would it be best to replace the warmogs with an item that defends against AP or AD depending on the respective damage outputs of the enemy team?

You've already got a lot of resistances so the health's really effective.

Thank you that helps!

I normally attempt to mitigate damage from the champion who got fed. Health is sort of a cover all, as I understand it. Not the best, but a possibility when they have no obvious superstar.

Okay that makes sense. Usually though with the health regen from the veil and warmogs I can regen all of my health within seconds and engage again at full strength.
