Nowadays I feel like it's so rare to see any real variety of champions on the Rift, it's always a small amount of FotM champions that keep getting played, regardless of how well they do. For examples you see people always playing champions like Darius top, Lee Sin jungle, Jhin/Jinx ADC, Thresh support. It's been a while since I've seen champions like Sejuani, Olaf, Rumble or Volibear in games nowadays.

Like I know about metashifts and whatnot but it's just kinda sad that they're not seen anymore.

Within every season and every patch there is a rotation of champions that are stronger than others. This is what we consider the meta. If you play long enough, you will notice this.

But yes, it is quite sad that there are only a select few champions that are popular because they are strong, and the big rotations take months.

I see Azir almost every game, but that's just because I'm playing him.

Anyway, now you only have to learn to perfectly counter like 10 champions and you win.

I just had a game with volibear in it, stupid ass bear kept shutting me down with his frenzy, and earlier i had a sejuani, stupid pig freezing hell incarnate wihth her damn skill shots, olaf i saw earlier as well, he got his ass kicked by a Soraka, it was hilarious. Rumble was banned like 3 times in my last 20 games, and played in 1 or 2, annoying ult dealing dot after ge dies...
