twisted treeline is by far the most outdated part of league of legends so why isn't riot fixing it? it would be a lot better if they either updated it or removed it and replaced it with something better.

To be honest I don't think it needs many changes. The map was updated semi-recently, more recently than howling abyss. As far as gameplay goes, there are only a couple of changes that need to be made. I think there are enough unique parts about it that it feels like a different mode from SR, but there are also plenty of similarities that make it feel like the same game.

My biggest complaint is that I feel like the altars are quite useless. having one altar is nice, but the only reason to ever get a second altar is simply to deny the enemy team having the 1 altar bonus. I also think Vilemaw is too hard to beat for the bonus that it gives. In most cases it isn't worth trying. It needs to either be easier or have a stronger buff. I feel like turrets are way too easy to destroy. If people complain about turrets on SR, they should look at the TT turrets. Lastly, I just wish that we could earn mastery 6 and 7 tokens on it. I get why you can't on other modes (featured modes and ARAM are too unpredictable) but I feel like 3s are close enough to 5s that it still requires the same types of skills to do well with your champion.

Overall I think TT is a very solid map. I used to love it soooooo much before I focused on SR. I remember back in the days when ranked teams were around it was always so much easier to get the 3 man squad up and ready to do those TT ranked games. I remember how exciting it was that rito kept ranked for 3s in the form of flex queue. I honestly wish that I played it more, since TT really is a great mode.

I don't personally play it, I tried but I really can't get into it. I can't put my finger on it but the map itself looks like it's really outdated when you compare it to SR and even ARAM looks fresher and even the rotating modes outclass it. Aside from that the meta is really difficult to adjust to because you never really know if you're going 1-1-1, 2-0-1 or vice versa 1-0-2.

but on a serious note TT is not really that outdated......that map was completely remade like 2 years ago i believe...maybe 3 but i think 2. For what is it there is not really much they can do.

TT remake was in 2012. For comparison, SR remake was in 2014. There's been some minor graphical updates (e.g. textures, minions) since then, but that's it.

I mean Dominion was a thing until Riot decided to avoid putting any resources into it. The same will probably happen to TT, sooner or later. They're already having trouble with the Rift, would not surprise me if they dropped Treeline the same way.

They dropped dominion so they could use it in the special games queue, and because it was a bot account trollfest game mode, unfortunately.

They need to remove support Comp because it ruins 3v3. No reason to play it while that exists.

I remember the OLD twisted treeline. That shit was actually played and was more enjoyable than SR IMO. Buuuuut they had to update it and now I really don't enjoy it.

They need stop that halloween event map and bring back the true 3v3 map. Yes since at least 5 season we have an event map and not the true map and i don't know why...
