League of Legends as of now

Hi, I'm a long time league player, and I just wanted to share my thoughts. Keep in mind these are just my thoughts, and they are not absolute, or the right. With the Mid-season patch, I felt as if league was changed not for the better, but for the worse. As of now, the game itself feels a bit snowbally, with little to no chance of coming back if even one lane slips up. This kinda urks me as before, you had a chance of coming back, and doing so just gave you that joy of being able to come back. Just that hope of being able to possibly win it with smart decisions and plays allowed me to confidently click the "no surrender" vote every time, but now, I'm finding myself clicking the "yes" more and more. Tying in with the above, are the dragons. The dragon has always been an essential role, but this entire RNG dragon roulette shouldn't be what league is about. League is about skill, and teamwork, not about luck, and 3 fire dragons spawning in a row, and only 1 spawning the next game. Before, the rewards were clear, and you were guaranteed what you got. While I get that this puts more focus on dragon, it just doesn't feel like the right way to do it. Overall, I think league's future is bleak if it keeps going down like this, which is disappointing. League taught me how to be more understanding, to not give up, and to grow a thick skin, as well as it being a game that let's me do something with my friends while I can talk to them about various things, and joke around with. In other words, the game called "League of Legends" no longer feels like itself anymore. Thank you for reading this wall of text. Feel free to talk below, if this thread ever gets more than five views.

I don't think this game is for me anymore, I'll be keeping an eye out to see if Riot comes back to their senses, but I find it unlikely given that the original League crew have all pretty much been replaced at this point.

I'll say this.... I don't think the league community is going to change. Period. Their will be a large fan base for a long time. With that said.... that does not mean that they will all be happy with the state of league. I have been playing since 2011 ish. For me this is a bad state for league. It's more the league of one shots or the league of hyper mobility way more so then the league of skill shots and out plays. Even watching pros I'm like "yeah do that with out a champ that can't dash every 0.5 seconds". I am sure their is some skill in hyper mobility. But not the same as it was before. Out play are with yasou going qe qe qe on minions catching you in route, knock up, GG. That is not skill to me. Even playing yas is not fun to me because you just eq eq eq and can't be AA. It's fucking stupid. It's turning into the league of dashes.

I just can't stand dynamic que. I'm plat 3 having to lose games cause someone wants to play with their two gold 3 friends and they just sandbag the whole game cause obviously they're way out of the elo they belong in.

Yesterday I was in bot lane and both of us were forced to back... and there was still a turret when we came back to lane. That wouldn't have happened in the first half of the season, so there's at least one positive change that reduced snowballing.
