Or maybe Dominion wasn't that good in the first place. does riot really believe people wouldn't constantly play there good modes like URF or Poro King year round? i mean ARAM works right? i stopped playing normal summoners rift cuz it feels too slow and boring(farming the first 10min). when they brought them back it really made me think of how much more enjoyable this game would be if they were permanent. i have no idea how much it costs/needs to have other modes open all the time but is it that bad even "if" its another failure?

P.S. - poro king should replace ARAM cuz i think most would enjoy picking there champ as opposed to letting RNG possibly giving you bad rolls. of course both work but im just saying if i had to chose one*[slayer-jinx-catface]*

NO. Plz no. I love ARAM, I mildly enjoy poro king. I'm certain that there are others in the same boat.

People play ARAM to get a random champ and play their best on it.
Not to play a certain champ.

I'll play a few games of Urf, ascension or doom bots but they get old after a little while especially after some kinda of meta game takes them over.

That is what kills these game modes.

Urf probably has the least replay value of any game mode Riot's ever released. After a day or two at most it always devolves into everyone playing whatever handful of champions happen to be completely broken.

There are some problems in having more game modes, One is balance: you have to balance everything for ALL the modes, meaning that the balance team has more work to do, another is the enjoyment they bring: these modes are fun only because they last so little, they are in no way balanced so they can get frustrating easily over logner period of times, but if they last 2 days who cares? Just have fun and move on. Also why would anyone play normals if urf was there the whole year? You can screw around as much as you want in urf, while in normal SR you have to be competitive, come up with strategies, be carefull of cds and resources, care for objectives, etc. But then, like I already said, riot would have to balance out urf, which is fun exactly because it's so unbalanced and nonsensical, making it just a gorified normal SR game.
