Why is it okay for Vayne to only need attack speed?

I can't think of another ADC that only needs one of the 3 carry stats to work.

I'm going to assume by attack speed you mean 
If you meant all AS pure AS then bless whichever Vayne carried a game like that
Successful Vayne build:
(or a different sixth defensive item)
That's, um, pretty standard for an adc build.
She definitely cannot build full AS and do good unless it is Sated jungler Vayne
