Is jax semi useless now?

Guinsoo's Jax into an AD off-tank still seems pretty dangerous.

why not go ap jax with thunderlords and just 1 hit people with a w q

next patch Triforce is AMAZING for Jax.

and destroy some noobs.

I think devourer change more or less killed Jax jungle -- there is really no reason for him not to go top instead. I'm sad. Jax jg was the first champion I mained. I haven't played him much lately anyway (in season 6 he was decent, but not that good of a jungler), so I don't mind this too much. But thinking about this makes me sad.

Any serious buffs would make him OP top unless well thought out, so can't just give him the Yi 6.10 treatment. I'd love for him to be viable in jg, but I don't have any specific proposals that I think would work.

looks like hes back to top lane but hes not weak against champions he counters if you ask me. hes a counterpick in the jungle now.
