Why wasn't Darius part of the assassin rework?

Just thought I'd ask: Why wasn't Darius part of the assassin rework? I mean, I'd consider him an assassin since he can deal 1,900 damage to me in 2.1 seconds. Shouldn't I get the opportunity to have some window of counter play? Shouldn't me, as Ekko, do more damage to him, as he only has spirit visage for MR, than he does to me, since I built full-damage and am actually an assassin?

He can build full tank, like Ekko could, and still dominate.

(btw I'm silver, so feel free to tell me how boosted I am and that I can't kite)

But in all seriousness, does Darius really need a heal on his spinning axe ability? Just seems way too strong early on & pretty unnecessary... I mean, sometimes, I consider taking ignite to cut his healing, but then I can't use TP to aid my team in times of distress. pls giv much thots ty in advan

then no, you shouldn't, because he built to survive and you didn't

better question is why an assassin is targeting a champion who is built to dumpster you

Q is avoidable and his ult doesn't do much without his bleed stacks. and you're Ekko, with a double-dash on E and a huge MS boost on your passive, not to mention your ult. you should be having the least amount of trouble running around Darius.

Darius is a juggernaut, so a low mobility, high base damage, fairly tanky melee champ. He has built in armor shred and generally eats melee's for breakfast.

If you are trying to all in him as a melee champ, especially a squishy one like ekko, without trading/poking him down a good bit first, he will kill you

yes, darius does need the heal on his q. and no, darius wouldnt be viable without it

you dont seem to understand the triangle.

Assassins > Dps squishies Tank/bruisers > assassins Dps squishies > tank/bruisers

you cant take an assassin to assassinate a tanky person.

i thought he got a update during the JUGGERNAUT UPDATE
