Search "toxicity in overwatch" and you will see why I don't want it. I don't care to listen to a bunch of whiners yelling over each other while at the same time the enemy team has the potential to have better communication since I will have my entire team muted. Takes the solo out of solo queue.

personally though I would say to just have it slightly monitored, but have it disabled by default. at least it wont tilt you unless you opted into it. though when I'm using discord with randos they constrain themselves much more then when I see them type, so I can imagine in game VC wont be too much different.

Cz you're just gonna use it to shit-talk people. Mute them? Most players can't even use the mute function for normal chat.
