You guys have no idea how to place people. Placements shouldn't be so crucial to point you can get demoted 4 times do you forget theres 4 other people in the game that affect everything? Also that you knwo people wanna have fun and not be so shut down from rank that its just not worth so many peoples time? You know i have like max friends and majority dont rank for this very reason wtf right? seriously wtf what a joke im done with your joke of a game i used to LOVE this shit and been here since s1 what a huge mistake and waste of time. I did nothing but my best and beyond and more than likely the carry or top 3 of the team almost every game just to get to placements and get none of that skill level of teammates and on top of that on a game i was gonna win get ddosed like how have you guys not fixed that. And i know it was a ddos cause my entire internet crashed for the literal last 10 minutes of game i even called my internet provider and they said they have no idea what was happening to it was if it was being and i quote "tampered with by an outside source" wtf how awesome.

Im quitting just like the many many others i hope you guys really listen to community soon cause i doubt you are growing most people i play with are new like s4 the oldest. i feel everyone s4 to s1 all have quit cause they all have seen your focus and its not on making the game fair fun or balanced its about making money and investing all your time into tournaments skins and more champs the game doesn't fucking need just disregarding the huge player base of players who dont take the game that seriously to point of career or tournament level playing.

So many things i cannot even bare to explain watch the video, youd have to be the biggest fan boy or riot or an employee to disregard and disagree completely with what some of the best, oldest, and some famous players of league have to say. They even explain as unbias as possible and explain in depth why this game is falling apart. Dont waste years on a game that doesn't care about the community ive been here since s1 and this game has only gotten worse over time. S3 S4 were probably the best years which i didn't even rank only til s5 to s6 which then the system took a turn for the absolute worse and now have wasted a whole year to get into silver 2 just to fall alll the way back down to b5 because ya know i like to solo and solo que is the most cancerous thing to do ever but i climbed up legit just to get into placements and go 4 placements down wow a big fuck you too to you riot you can't be this harsh to people with rank their needs to be lines drawn not everyone plays because they wanna go pro like who the hell do you guys think you are. This is the only game on the fucking planet to have it so complicated and so hard to rank up its complete insanity. Any other game has so much more slack and makes so much more sense. Anyways your not worth anymore time i know you guys dont give a fuck about the community unless its the ones with money or professional and are what like gold plus prob lol yeah fuck you guys im out

It bothers me when people complain about their placements..

Like, if you good enough to get the elo you belong in you'll climb back to it...

If somebody was plat last season, and got gold this season, they should be more than capable of climbing back to platinum unless they're boosted and really just a gold in plat.

I think the main point is that ~70% of the League playerbase is "average" or below in skill. That means just 30% actually have an opportunity from being "good". I play League because I want to win, I want to improve and be better and I find the action of improving to be enjoyable, but I don't really have as much fun anymore. Losses are frustrating, you feel like you have zero control over game.

Also the fact that negativity impacts and influences people way more than positive outcomes. You're more likely to remember that 8-game losing streak you had way better than an 8-game winning streak.

You're in your lane or jungle doing your thing and suddenly the enemy gets first blood, top lane gets solo killed and bot is getting camped. You're the only lane doing well and it's so hard not to feel like you just straight up got the shaft. That's not fun. You did your job. You played safe. You warded. you outplayed your opponent. And all of the sudden none of that matters because one person can't win a game. You played so well and didn't get rewarded for it. It's basic training psychology. You go good and expect a reward. When you do good and don't get rewarded, it just feels like wasted effort.

You can say, "Well, if you play that well consistently, then it doesn't matter, you'll get rewarded and climb eventually", that's really missing the point. Playing well at that point doesn't feel like a reward. When you finally win and get your LP, it doesn't feel like a victory. It feels more like, "Well it's about damn time". It's not rewarding, it just feels like you finally got something you should be getting all along.

And then when you're the one feeding, it's even worse. Get make a bad play, you know it was a bad play and you died. Now you have 4 completely random strangers asking you to kill yourself or even worse, you get the anonymous question ping. Like, you already know that you fucked up. You really don't need someone else rubbing it in and making it a point.

The only time you feel like you have any impact in the game is when you're hyper fed, going 11-0 on an assassin of when you're feeding your ass off, the latter happening far more often than the former.

Idk, League is obviously popular, but popularity doesn't necessarily mean fun. The interviews are right in the fact that league doesn't feel like sublime fun. League doesn't feel relaxing. It's always so stressful for no reason at all. And it's the most stressful to people who are trying to improve. The silvers and golds who want to be where the diamond players are but are constantly put down by the rest of the community who can never be happy for other people's achievements. There's always this "you're trash, just uninstall the game" mentality coming from a lot of high-rated players. This "you're not diamond so you're not allowed to have an opinion" when the "not diamond" crowd makes up 98% of the RANKED player base. That's not even beginning to count the people who don't play ranked.

Maybe I'm just the kind of person who understand that I'll never be in the LCS, so I feel like playing for competition is pointless. I don't get the same satisfaction from the game as someone who is actually aspiring to be the next Faker or Doublelift.

Basically, I'm not playing to be the best player in the world, so why am I letting myself get as stressed as someone who is? It's why I play Minecraft or some roguelike. They're fun in the sense that relaxation and abnigation is fun.

I agree. I won't quit but I've handed over tons of cash, most recently $175 Ca last week and as of finishing my placements last night I won't ever give Riot another cent. I'll use that to buy other games.
