Viktor has been is a really bad spot since the ryalis nerf and currently sits at the bottom of the barrel in mid does riot just forget he is a champion or just don't care at all it's been over a year since he was viable champ, now people think i'm trolling if i hover him in champ select.

Viktor NEEDS a buff i'm not talking a buff that would make him pick or ban worthy maybe add some stuff to is hex core like cdr or change the price of it's 1st upgrade just do something before he becomes a meme like that one champ top lane that i forgot it's name

A rioter was posting on R/Viktormains saying they were testing adding a shield to the enhanced auto proc of his Q as well as the initial ability damage that already has a shield.

Wasn't really received the best, but that's what was mentioned.

There was a post later (forget where) that mentioned those changes didn't seem to be the best direction so they were looking at different buffs instead.

Biased poll is biased.

I think he's viable, but he needs a little push in the right direction. I'd say lower his hexcore costs OR make them like GP ult, upgrades you buy in shop, so you don't have to clutter your inventory.

Lmfao how u cant sit here and tell me he is viable when for the past year he has sat at the bottom of the winrates for mid, Everything he does other control mages do better they also have alot better back timings which i would say makes a huge difference in mid it should not feel awkward backing with 1k plus gold.

He has a solid kit but it's alot easier to outplay then other mages ori ulti almost instant syndra etc while viktor has to chase his enemy round with his slow ulti while pretty much all champs in the game now have some kind of move speed buff or blink ability literally every new champ riot makes nowadays have some Type of gap close or ms steroid zoe, camille, orn, kayn etc viktor is far from a good spot.

Most of the ult damage is on the 2nd tick because you're supposed to use your W on them. Once late game comes he can one shot an entire group of people.

Viktor can get a slow with Rylai's and E or Q and speed buff from Q.

The problem is, Rylai's "rework" completely tanked his win rate. Riot said they were meant to give him compensation buffs when Rylai's got changed, but they haven't for some odd reason.

I think they don't want to overdo it, as they tend to always do. Especially when Viktor can cast his ult without any cast time.

I just think the delayed damage on Viktor's E is really crap. The old 'burn' effect he used to have was better, IMO.

A buff is planned for 8.3 if i'm not mistaken. either way a buff is coming. my friend who i play league with most of the time is a viktor main and he's still doing fine with him.

I know it's not fun when your main is kinda weak but you should still be able to use him effectively.

they were testing a shield refresh on his zappy stick auto i think. but it made viktor players delay their dmg heavily just for the shield so they were looking into different things. (idk the exact details though)
