Why Are LCS Games So Much Longer?
Often on the boards, people have complained about the game being way too fast, snowballing way too hard, and being determined far too early. Many high level streamers have been vocal on the matter as well.
As professional play begins around the world, I noted that the game times at the organized levels of play was extraordinarily long (40+ average game time... even a 90+ minute game between SKT/JAG).
Is this simply because at the organized level, people play hella safe, so nothing happens? How can normal games and high elo SoloQ differ so much from the organized level of play?
It seems Riot has somehow patched their way into a massive doozy, with the community crying for longer games, and the LCS games being long and drawn out.
