Squishing the Bug Overkill?

So I was looking at the PBE notes and noticed that our favorite/hated friend has yet another nerf heading his way. It got me thinking about the voidreaver and his role in the game and in the community. It seems hasn't received a buff in his entire existence, and Riot keeps sending nerfs at him with some hope that it'll change him in some way and make him "balanced". My problem with this philosophy is that after having tried it over and over again, it dosent work. No matter what changes happen, other junglers are nerfed and therefore kha is put back into the spotlight and up for a nerf again. However what I have to ask for Riot, what is your philosophy with ? I understand he must be a frustrating champion to balance but in comparison with champions like who IMO is far more frustrating than . But then there are champions like who have managed to reach that level of balance and simply cannot touch her as she is in the perfect place. I am curious to see how Riot deals with future champions and just hope that they look at "balancing" in other ways than just beating him to death with the nerf bat.
