The aatrox problem

So there's a few champions getting nerf after nerf after nerf. Akali and irelia, really needed it, but this last akali one in my opinion was a bit too far. But we aren't here to talk about akali. I'm here to talk about aatrox. The man who was finally seeing play, reworked into something hardly resembling aatrox, and then immediately nerfed to be forgotten again. He isn't completely gone yet but these new nerfs are just ridiculous. I attached a link, his %s are already niche. His winrate is just below 46% and is currently played LESS then AKALI. His play rate is 2.64%. Akali on the other hand, has 2.93%. So why all these aatrox nerfs? He wins less then half his games already, and is played very, VERY little. So why is he still getting nerfs?

Aatrox was one of my favourite champions to play ever since his launch and now that he's literally unplayable its rather upsetting. It's honestly disgusting that champions get treated this way at all and that includes akali, sure lets just completely gut this champion until we come up with some way to buff them.

And no not being fun to play against is not why he was nerfed, there are literally dozens of champions that are in no way shape or form fun to play against.

The problem is, they made him so spell heavy he's obviously gonna out-trade the shit out of people. Had they made him any bit identical to his previous form, he would be less of a balance issue.

Revert Aatrox or undo the nerfs I swear this champ always gets screwed over and forgotten There are SO MANY more cancerous champs in soloQ

keep in mind that 9.2 and 9.3 nerfs are already in place before riot even saw the 9.1 stats in pro scene.

They gives no fucks about competitive integrity, they gives no fucks about balancing the soloq

they make changes based on their hurt feelings, when one of their employee failed silver promo

winrates don't mean shit otherwise akali wouldn't being nerfed either. you gotta look at playrates and banrates too. and the how oppressive a champ can be to face. and sorry to burst your bubble but aatrox is not fun at all to face. not mid not top not anywhere. you can cry all you want but your champ belongs in the gutter.

sorry but aatrox is not fun to face. i hope to god riot nerfs your champ STRAIGHT into the gutter. you cannot have a champ with a strong early game,strong mid,and strong late game all in one package. just by existing aatrox invalidates so many champs. sure he may not be as popular now but he is still one of the most played tops and is still pure cancer. the fact people can take aatrox to midlane and still kickass really says something. and thank god riot is removing irelias magic damage defense from her w she also no place being in there either! this champ has no place in this game in his current state is just an overloaded overtuned piece of shit. and riot is doing gods job by nerfing him to oblivion.

I never took an issue with Aatrox until I watched my brother play against him in midlane as Lux.

Aatrox just walked up to him, used his Q1+E and actually outranged a Lux. I really didn't expect that. Since he hit Q1, he was then guaranteed to hit Q2+E. So long to 3/5 of Lux's hp bar. This isn't even the worse part of the problem. What was truly disheartening was seeing Aatrox shrug off any damage through stupid levels of sustain from the minion wave. At a certain point my brother just stopped poking him, because it was useless, a waste of mana and exposed him to the risk of being engaged. So he started afk farming with E, but Aatrox placed himself between him and his wave.

One last information? That Aatrox was 0/1/0. In the early levels he got rekt because he was trying the dumb hyperagressive playstyle described above too early.

I'm far from being an expert in playing as or against Aatrox, but I can see where the problem lies. Especially if he's warping proplay that much.
