Every time a new URF comes out there are always post that are up voted by most of the community that we want normal URF back. Every new iteration of URF has gotten worse and worse. The new URF is terrible, you see the same champs over and over and over. It gets boring way to fast. People want to pick their own champion not have a system pick it for them. We have never even tried normal URF with 10 bans. THE COMMUNITY WANTS URF BACK
so your complaint is that we see the same champions over and over again so we should have normal urf back...forgetting that in normal urf you also always see the same champions over and over again.
10 ban urf isn't enough, it won't even be 10 bans since you can double ban, just look at the poro king mode, sometimes we only get 5/6 bans total because people ban the most OP obvious shit on both teams
You know one thing I haven't seen on the boards at all today: the fact that hey it's the holiday season and Riot wanted to try something different while giving the insanity this game mode brings anyway. They even state that in one of their announcements! It doesn't even matter the iteration anymore; complaints always come. A lot of people just don't care anymore; they want what they want and don't care to accept anything else. Even 10 Bans, it wouldn't matter much. You get one champ you don't want to face and there becomes a staleness to that - there's so much that removing 10 champs can do when there's about 50+ ridiculous champs as is. You get the glorious "Who didn't ban X" or "Why pick X" toxicity.
At least one personal takeaway I can get from this time around: Riot can make all champs available in a random rotation. I hope they translate that at the very least.

See? Now most of the community just wants ARURF back. This Snow URF isn't URF or ARURF, it's a hybrid abomination of the worst shit from both modes, rolled into 1 giant turd that screams "fuck you, you get nothing, now go play ranked LC$ Simulator like good little monkeys".
Hey Riot, give us URF and ARURF, and make them permanent. I'll decide what game modes I like to play, and you stop throttling the fun.
