Why do you need to be honor level 2 for clash. Most people that are gonna play clash are just playing with friends anyway. So they usually wont flame. Just kinda stupid that people that are trying to reform and just not able to do anything fun lol.

Now how many times have you hard carried the game and gotten all the honor just for the fact that you carried and nobody actually thought you didn't tilt or that you called good shots. How about instead of punishing players for not carrying a game, and not leveling up in honor. so lets be real here instead of making this honor based make it summoner level based make, make it freaking rank based but for gods sake stop ruining the game for people who cant get honor.

It does matter, because a lot of those clash teams are not friends - they are prefound on forums, kinda like solo queuing - you dont know them well, still you have to behave and dont treat them like shit if they are not as good as you expected from them probably

exactly, ive been dropped from honor level 4 last season to level 0 cuz i had 1 bad match and now not only do i rarely get key frags but now i cant even participate in this event!? super lame

a) you dont drop to level 0, you first get a warning b) second report series (not a single report, but a series of reports) you drop to level 1 c) if you still can not behave after the warning AND the honor level 1 drop (first chat restriction) you will get to honor level 0
1 single game where you have a bad game does nothing, except if it is mega hardcore flaming, with racist / lots of f yous / lots of i hope u die and crap like this.

Me and my friends were msging each other in norms and we said Kay Why Es to each other twice as a chant to engage the enemy, instantly restricted right after that game and my level dropped to 0.
Just Tycho1 votesRiot is WAY too loose and harsh with chat restrictions. It shouldn't even take away your honor. I got my first chat restriction two months ago, and JUST got my honor back despite getting 2-3 honors each game at LEAST. Chat restriction is definitely not worth all of that, especially since you can just be sitting there sending friendly banter and the enemy will report you for it. They're catering to the snowflake community, not the gamer community.

i wish it was more transparent. like what kind of system are they using? is it a sort of point system where if everyone honors each other then you get say 100 honor points that game. and if you say the things mentioned above or are toxic does that mean you get 0 honor points all together or is it just a deduction from the maximum you can receive? that being said, is there bonus points for saying good things like glhf, nice job, thanks for the help, gg, etc.. ive always wondered such things, and i really just wish they had an honor progress bar that you could see go up and down and also that it stated how MUCH honor you earned from each game. i think if people knew these details then it would give them more incentive to be nice to each other in game. granted you dont need an incentive to be nice to someone but you know what i mean

From what Riot has said, being positive and encouraging will yield you more points and getting validly reported will drastically slow down your honor progress.
It is possible to be moving up in honors while still be validly reported, and eventually punished

Kei1431 votesThe system is a point system. Every time you get validly reported, you get a toxicity score. When you reach a certain threshold , you'll get punished.
Now the reform card only shows you 1-5 recent games as examples of unacceptable behavior. No way they can fit all of your chatlogs there.

Just Tycho1 votesAnd reports can be falsified. I've gone through a given chat log for a restriction and I showed it to a cluster of people and they couldn't understand why. Some of them were even in game with me and saw what was said to me and how I was harmlessly defending myself and others. Instant restriction. And they won't let you redeem yourself. They have a bot do it for them, and it only goes over your logs and looks for keywords, it doesn't care about phrasing or sentencing. If you say "My brothers gay and there's nothing wrong with that" someone can report you and the bot will see GAY and flag you. You can get a chat restriction easier than you can get a gun in Alabama.[zombie-brand-mindblown]

this is no guess what he explained up there - this was mentioned from mods on several topics already where people where crying they dont get their honor level 1 back even though they where not chat restricted anymore for more than 3/4/5/6 months ... a Mod (at least once i saw it) responded, that he looked into his profile and sees a lot of "omg kid" "report xyz" "he is inting" and stuff like this, which is not honorable, just report if you think he deserves, but dont encourage him into a flame war

Sports related: If a player has a bad game you sit him on the bank - thats the warning you receive on your first flame-war .... If this doesnt help you get honor level 1 and a chat restriction for the first time ... if this STILL doesnt help you get honor level 0 and no rewards any longer ... Same like in sports first a warning (yellow card), then a red card where you sit out 1 game or even multiple games and if you can not behave at all you will receive a ban from the team / league / sport

Two week chat restriction!) and dropped all the way to honor 0. It took me 2 months to climb back to honor 1, and I didn't even bother using chat that entire time.

To help ensure there's minimal if any toxicity, they locked it with honor 2 or greater. This requirement may but is not guaranteed to change before it goes live eventually.

What is Clash?
They are doing a beta test for Clash. It's a competitive type of thing where you find 4 other people to play with you. It's more competitive than ranked. It's in a bracket format so kind of like a tournament.

How fast you gain honor is all dependent on your behavior. If you're displaying behavior that's poor but not poor enough to warrant a punishment then that can slow your honor progress. If you're struggling to climb in honor then try examining how you're behaving, as chances are you're behaving in a way (either knowingly or unknowingly) that's preventing you from climbing in honor ranks.
