BUT! These nerfs are crazy, and don't even compensate for the fact that Aurelion has huge weaknesses.

It isn't like they are stupid overpowered. Only mains play them. Of course they have good stats because of that. I am surprised they haven't touched Karthus. Like, it makes me want to stick to playing DotA more often. They took away one of my favorite things in this game in the mage rework. Just leave shit alone. You don't have to rework and change everything. Removing or seriously changing an ability should be the last thing you should ever try.

Mostly everyone one the Aurelion Sol mains Reddit is saying the same thing as well. The only solid buff to Sol is that he doesn't need to build 'Escape Velocity', but even that carries a secret nerf. In live you can cast your E even after receiving damage if you already have escape velocity built up. With is change it will make that impossible.
All in all this is a straight up nerf.
