why Dark Harvest is not helping melee champions in aram
Champions with range and on-attack/on-hit synergy
Can make significatnly better use of Dark Harvest than the low range champions
. Proccing Dark Harvest damage is really complicated, you need to auto attack your opponent once. Will this be easier for champions with high range or low range? Okay, then let's pick Dark Harvest on some melee champions with gap-closers
. Guess what? If they try to gap-close in, their target gets shielded, they get CCed, and focus fired. Significantly harder than just auto attcking once from range. You might say they have onshot potential, but there's a lot of counterplay to that as well. Shields, Crowd control, and building tanky enough to survive their initial burst will give this champions a hard time. Compare that to Ezreal's counterplay (stay out of his range). Oh and by the way, Dark Harvest procs on turrets as well, so the ranged champions have an easier time steamrolling by demolishing turrets.
How to make aram better:
- Revert 7.8 minion changes
- disable Triumph and Dark Harvest from aram
- Give melee champions a minion execute passive 3 charges , 30 sec cooldown on Guardian's Horn.
