New jungle thoughts!!

Riot intended clear jungle roles with the new items, but I dont really feel they have accomplished this. If you are playing a nonsustaining jungle your route is going to be very unpredictable and dude to the camp spawns being longer it really makes counter jungling not nearly as worth.

counter jungling requires too much time running around aimlessly in the early game and will result in under leveling making the POACHERS item somewhat useless

STALKERS is intended for junglers who have little or no cc, this can be useful on some junglers but definitely not the assassin junglers I'm sure riot intended this item to be for ( eve, wukong etc)

RANGERS is basically the only choice for junglers who have little or no sustain. From my experiances the jungle is now so difficult that you need to smite as much as possible to even keep up with decent CS

SKIRMISHERS I would assume is best for attack speed junglers, would compare it to feral flare?

All in all i feel like the jungle has serious potential BUT i really feel like the jungle camps need to be nerfed back to something more like season 4. I find it extremely difficult to have a big impact early game due to the level differences created with a harder jungle ( this is coming from a plat jungle main)

I do think the new jungle is interesting but there are a few problems I have with it currently.

The amount of health and mana you gain from the new jungle items is piss poor. If you're a mana intensive character, you're going to run dry and be forced to back. Not as bad with ranger's, but it is problematic. If you don't have any sustain, such as Evelyn, you're forced to back very often and spend a good amount of gold on health pots simply because of the damage taken is pretty significant.

The intent is clearly to prevent constant ganking and low level ganking, but the problem is that this makes counter junglng extremely powerful. Once you fall behind, you end up staying behind the entire game without any way of coming back because of the problems above.

Compound this with smite's cooldown being significantly longer, and you're taking a lot more time to clear camps and try to maintain your CS. The idea's are good, but I do think implementation is still rough despite the fact that some of these problems were mentioned over a month ago in PbE.
