IN SHORT: Add some AD scaling to his Q.

add something like .35 ad scaling to Wildcards AND lower the base damage of his Q. still magic damage. ap scaling stays the same

i dont know the full balancing process but im thinking ;

Magic damage: 55 / 100 / 145 / 190 / 235 (+ 35% AD) (+ 65% AP) /// what Riot would usually do OR 10 / 55 / 100 / 145 / 190 (+ 100% AD) (+ 65% AP) /// what i would personally like to see

allows for build flexibility with hybrid items and the occasional AD build.

by comparison to the current Magic damage: 60 / 110 / 160 / 210 / 260 (+ 65% AP)

i voted no because what he needs is not damage but a better chance to do it

i would like to see a 100 range increase when using W AND

OR more speed on his Q OR lower CD of his Ultimate

he's short range mage so his AA should have a better range (Annie has 625,TF 525). Giving this buff to range only when using W could be a nice compromise

another thing to say is that he suffered a lot from the removal of DFG

With DFG i reached 751 AP and my full combo damage to an enemy with 92MR was 2017 Now i'm building item 3115 (for CDR and on hit damage) but full combo damage has gone down to 1732 (-285) Building item 3116 (100 Ap instead of 60 of Nashor's Tooth) doesn't improve the damage because i lose the on hit I could consider to build item 3146 now,but i'll miss 20%CDR and it's very expensive but the total damage will raise to 1963 (still less than having DFG)
