Twisted Fate E buff? (What if...)

Well, simply put, I don't feel strong when I play** Twisted Fate**. Now, I understand his roam potential and his wave clear and long range poke, but I really don't think he is that strong of a champion. Now, i understand he is in a healthy position in the state of the game, but I really feel like his E could be buffed somewhat. Now here is what I propose for him: 8% AP scaling on every auto attack as a passive for his E. Similar to oriana passive or Kassadin passive, every auto will do some extra damage. This passive would give him some nice damage and make him more fun during laning, more damage for CS (as he has PITIFUL base AD)

Now I agree he is not bad. But is he better then ryze ? Leblanc ? Ziggs ? Ekko ? Like twisted fate isnt someone who is scary in lane. And one more thing. He has low AD and Speed and everything. So if anyone agrees or has any ideas, tell me about it.

You want to just add an 8% AP on-hit on every autos? Like, and that's all, nothing more?

That's a huge buff, one TF can't afford right now without a compensatory nerf elsewhere.

but in a team fight, attack speed wont help if his autos do less then 80 damage to champions? If he is better then ryze, is he still worse then the other mid laners? Syndra?

Honestly though, why does the fact that "He sucks in team fights" means he's weak overall?

It sounds like he's meta reliant. (In pro play, he has been known to pop up for apparently no reason) But if you buff him where he viable in a meta he's not designed for. It's likely going to put him in the wrong side of Oppressive in the eyes of public opinion.

And given his Roam potential, Riot likely was forced to balance him closer to his skill cap. (Making him seem weaker in lower ELO) And because of his Roams, he becomes more reliant on their success. (making him a little feast or famine)

The OP said Twisted Fate isn't someone who's scary in lane.

Well, that's because if he were scary in lane and also the best roamer in the game, he would be overpowered.

So Riot keeps him from being scary in lane. But that doesn't mean he's weak.

Maybe TF isn't made to teamfight that way?

40% CDR build already gives you insane DPS with ~2 second cooldown W and ~4 second cooldown Q.

Q and W have the same cooldown, base of 6 seconds. So 3.6 seconds on both with 40% CDR.

Oh.

Huh, do you know if W's cooldown starts from it's cast or when the card is thrown? I distinctly remember nearly permastunning a Riven as she tried to run away.

That also means TF's DPS is insane without a 40% CDR build... jesus christ not that CDR is hard to get on him. item 3100 item 3165 is 30% already.

I'm pretty sure his W cooldown starts when the card is thrown.

In addition to a buff to E, I would like to see its stacks determine which card TF starts with when using W (and the max stacks would obviously be reduced to 2, so we have 0, 1, 2). I think it would add some neat gameplay.
