Seraph's Embrace VS Luden's Echo:

A lot of players choose one or the other. My question is "why not both?" LE seems to play off of SE well. It gives LE +18 AP bringing it to a complete 108 AP. (that's before Deathcap) Especially if you have the Transcendence rune for that extra CDR AP. Top it off with Rod of Ages then Rabadons's.

Here's my math:

Seraph's Embrace 50 AP +42 (Awe passive from SE) 1400 Mana 20 CDR

Luden's Echo 90 AP +18 (Awe passive from SE) 600 Mana 20C CDR (potentially plus 20 AP with Transcendence)

Rod of Ages 100 AP +12 (Awe passive from SE) 500 Health 400 Mana

( Dont forget that the CDR passive, Haste, doesn't stack. You don't gain 40 CDR from both items, but 30% )

you dont need that much mana, and something like void staff, rabadons, or morello is going to be more damage.

Seraphs staph is for sustain damage champs. Like cass, ryze, kassadin. Champions that spam abilities. While Luden Is more burst focused. You don't usually build both on the same champion because they are designed for the complete opposite reason.
