I don't know if this (Gameplay & Balance) is the right place for this, but I always thought it was kind of weird that you can edit and switch around your masteries during Champ Select, but you could only select rune pages. Shouldn't you be able to switch out runes if you'd like? I feel like I could play some matchups better if I could switch out runes like I do with masteries.
Just my 2 cents wurf.
I have always wondered why you couldnt..and then i figured it out. You have to purchase rune pages...you would have no need of multiple rune pages if you could simply change them real fast every match, you would just have to buy all the runes. So there is your answer. Money.
Because Riot wants your money for rune pages instead of making them free like Mastery pages. Like spending some 3000+ IP for a single page of runes wasn't bad enough and they want us to buy the page itself.
