I will tell you this I completely agree. I feel like the work done on Malz did more harm than good. We are stuck with a champion that is a mess. Riot needs to think about their choices going forward. The League of Legends community is finally catching on to the fact that certain Departments that work on champions . . . . are ruining them . . . . and the community is losing patience. Another problem is that instead of tackling the mistakes and reverting them, Riot will let that champion rot, ignore everything on them, and make the excuse that now the champion needs a VGU.
Riot will not get to all of these champions until 4+ years. They will not communicate. Riot will ignore all work on these champions outside of a nerf or numbers buff. No Department at Riot Games cares about fixing mistakes on champions, reverting the work done on them, working on the champions that really need it . . . . . because they now have an identity problem or are nothing like how they were before. Riot Games just doesn't care.
Riot games only cares about reworking Ryze 4 plus times. Riot cares about prioritizing work on Annie, Brand, and Velkoz. Riot cares about giving a mini-rework to champions like Reksai before rectifying mistakes and terrible work on champions for years now. Riot Games just doesn't care.
Look at Aatrox. Look at Vlad. Look at Skarner. Look at Karma. Look at Morde. Look at everything that isn't Ryze, Brand, Vel'koz, Annie, or Reksai. Riot games does not care anymore. 0 communication, 0 work being worked on the champions that really need it, the comment that these champions now need a VGU and we are expected to wait years now, and a Riot Games Development team telling a community member that a champion performing well in the LCS is a very clear indicator that a champion is healthy, has a great kit, a fantastic lore and theme, and amazing visual update . . . . . they are delusional at best. We know the champions Riot Games cares about. At the expense of 10 champion suffering for more than a year now, we will get another Ryze rework and a mini-rework on Reksai, who was recently released as a new champion.
Riot Games doesn't care.
