Just because you can code something into the client doesn't mean that you should. Literally wasting 5 minutes of my life, and for what?? Because if I don't lock in that means I'm obviously a troll or I'm obviously afk?

By refusing to lock in, you're wasting the time of everyone else in the lobby. The whole point of requiring people to lock in is so that champ select goes faster, and the game starts faster.
This was the worst part about DQ for me as well. Especially when it comes to banning, why can't I just not ban? Can I at least pass the ban to another player? because I don't really care about banning.
Fun fact: When the Dynamic Q info was posted way before DQ was even put onto live servers we were told we'd have to LOCK IN our ban picks and champ choices. If you're only starting out in ranked then I can understand why that would happen but if you were around when the post for DQ was posted, it's your own fault for not reading.
