My recommendation on how to Make Ornn Usefull

*Allow his q to Be reactivated early so That you can get an early pillar.

*Make his w [Unstoppable] count as a spell-shield. (No lingering cc like Morgana stun still taking effect even though she hit him. It's called unstoppable for a reason)

His e is okay or....Make it double knockup height when Brittle

*Make his R so that you can press it early and have it on a premeditated path. Thierfore we can't missing the Ult because where it's going has already been determined; Much like how Taric's E skillshot is aimed As long as you stay near or on his Ult path Ornn will auto hit it.

Passive: Allow him to upgrade items in this order for himself (Lvl:6 1 item, Lvl:9 2nd item Lvl 13 3rd item)

Every magic Resist item gets 35+ more Mr. Or Armor item he has on his shop.

-Add Adaptive helm to his list of upgradable items (Gives: 30+ Armor, +35 more magic Resist)

Why: Because Ornn specializes in Non Magical armor...

Add Ohmwrecker to the list

Slide on (+45 armor, +20 Mr and like 300-600 Hp) (Finally a reason to Buy Ohwrekr)

Add Titanic Hydra on the list Add Frozen mallet on the list Add Ravenous Hydra on the list Add Ranuins omen Add Bramble vest Add frozen heart Add Gargoyles stoneplate Let the infinity edge upgrade increase infinity edges crit damage by 25% more. It is a sword regardless which doesn't count on magic or increase molten edges AD by +20 Thier should be no reason why ornn can't upgrade ALL tank items when he himself is a tank

*Let Ornn be able to Upgrade his Jungle item and not count towards his limit

Everything Non-Magical Ornn is able to upgrade

Last time I checked Ornn was played in Worlds.

What do you mean "make him useful"?
